This Saturday evening, October 24, Surfindian will present "Sea Life", an exhibition featuring artwork, surfboards, and photography by Julie Cox, Nicole Grodesky, Ashley Lloyd, Serena Mitnik-Miller, and Elizabeth Pepin. The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday evening, October 24, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Live music will be provided at the opening reception by Olivia Rohde. The exhibition will run through November 30, 2009.

The "Sea Life" exhibition highlights artistic inspiration from five California-based women whose expressions originate from their interaction with the ocean - an element that has worked into every aspect of their daily lives. The women, all avid surfers themselves, employ a variety of media, from painting to photography to surfboard shaping to create a unique and diverse body of work.
