How long have you been surfing?
8ish years
When did you learn how to surf?
My uncle Scotty took me one day. It’s all his fault
What is it like surfing in Huntington Beach?
Listen to the D.I. song I hate surfing in HB.. nah its good. I love it. There’s some sort of a wave to ride every day.
And there’re a lot of variety too, it's always different.
A lot of people bag on it, but a lot of people just come during the summer for the U.S. Open and don't like it. It’s crowded as. Windy in the afternoon and it’s the worst time for waves. There’s more to it than the US Open. If you can look past that, Huntington’s pretty fun.
What kind of boards do you ride?
My shaper is Sean Reilly. He shapes out of LA. He made me a quad a while back and I really liked it. So, I've been playing with those for a while usually down size a bit with a quad, maybe a 5'8. I still ride thrusters too and occasionally my 5'4 twin fin. And sometimes even a longboard, I don't discriminate.
Where have you traveled?
Hawaii a few times, I used to go to Baja... Costa Rica, Portugal, El Salvador, and Australia
What is your favorite place you've traveled to?
umm either Australia or Hawaii
How do you do those 360's?
Very carefully
Tell us about your truck, it's so cool.
It’s a 56 ford. It's a little rough on gas, I swear it gets like 1 mpg. I like old cars. Trucks are cool, just throw boards in the back

What's a trick that you're trying to work on?
mm the latest and greatest is a backside 360, I'm trying to get more consistant with those. They're kinda awkward
Do you compete? Do you plan on competing?
I did NSSA when I was in high school.. I've done a couple pro juniors here and there. I was impressed with the girl's pro junior series in OZ. I would love to go back and do that, it’s my last year as a junior. But hopefully try some QS comps in the near future and see what happens.
