SoCal Pow! Winter Storm Hits Southern California

There's nothing quite like waking up to fresh snowfall in the mountains. Another storm swept Southern California and dropped 24 inches of powder on Big Bear Mountain Resorts much to snowboarders' delight, blanketing the slopes for epic conditions across all runs.

Oh no he didn't.... Rob Dyrdek's MONSTER tattoo

Talk about brand loyalty!! Skateboarder/ Entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek recently got some new ink, and a lot of of it, Monster should be stoked! The logo of Monster Energy drink, who sponsors Dyrdek, has prime real estate on the skateboarder's back... forever.... for- evvvvvvvvvver, now that there is a giant, neon green 'M' tattooed across his entire back. Needless to say, his mom in Ohio is not stoked.

VANS Girls Combi Pool Classic

DYLA Magazine wasn't able to make the First Annual VANS Combi Classic, but Chris Zsarnay was and he took some sick photos for all of us to enjoy. By looking at Chris's photos, this was the best place to be besides Big Bear on a rainy day in Southern California this past Saturday. All the major supporters of woman's skateboarding was there and sporting their stuff with little booths.

Cross Training with Pilates

Sometimes just participating in your sport of choice is enough and sometimes it isn’t. That’s why cross training is essential in maintaining a healthy and overall fit body. Not only does cross training help with improving your skill level, but it decreases the chances of future injury.

"Pilates is good for stretching and releasing the tension that you’ve created. It’s good for flexibility and increasing range of motion," said Pilates instructor at RBC One, Anita Halton.
