Ladies rip at Triple Crown on the north shore

There's nothing like the north shore in winter! The ladies paddle out to the first stop of the Van's Triple Crown of surfing in Hale'iwa. Cholo's Hawaiian Pro offered some awesome waves for the surfers to show their skill as the event was broadcasted live. Stephanie Gilmore surfed with power and style, earning rides in the nine point range and ultimately winning the event. Fellow Rip Curl team riders Tyler Wright and Alana Blanchard also took to the podium, Alana Blanchard having won the title at Hale'iwa the previous year. The Triple Crown continues at Sunset Beach for the Gidget Pro!
