The Gidget Pro Sunset Beach, Event No. 6 of 7 on the 2009 ASP Women’s World Tour, completed Rounds 1 and 2 today in solid six foot (2 metre) surf at the iconic location of Sunset Beach and saw future 2010 ASP Women’s World Tour rookie Carissa Moore (HAW), 17, lead the world’s finest female surfers into the Quarterfinals.

2009 ASP Europe Awards Ceremony
The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Europe will host their 2009 ASP Europe Awards Ceremony on December 18 at the Rock Food in Hossegor, France.
The 2009 ASP European Champions will receive their trophies in front of industry representatives, media and surfers to celebrate the end of another successful year for professional surfing in Europe.
ASP Europe extend their thanks to you for your support to European surfing, athletes, and events.

Rampaging Swells Force Second Lay Day for Gidget Pro Sunset Beach
SUNSET BEACH, Oahu/Hawaii (Wednesday, November 25, 2009) – A massive swell in the 15–to-18-foot (5-6 metre) range has slammed in to Oahu’s North Shore and has forced event officials to call the Gidget Pro Sunset Beach, Event No. 7 of 8 on the 2009 ASP Women’s World Tour, off for today.
